Web app
sundial.md runs the same editor in the browser. Documents live in the cloud, and Sundial Agent does the agent work.
What it is
Go to sundial.md/new and you are in a workspace: the same editor, suggestions, review, comments, and history as the desktop app, in a browser tab. It is also where a document you shared from the desktop app opens for people who do not have the app.
Cloud workspaces
A cloud workspace is stored on Sundial's servers and is live multiplayer by default. Agent turns run on Sundial Agent, which has its own sandbox per workspace for shell commands, so it can install packages, run scripts, and work with git without touching your machine. Model choice is per chat, from the full catalog, and you can connect your Claude or ChatGPT subscription or your own provider keys under Settings → API keys.
Only in the cloud
Some features need a server and are cloud-only for now: two-way GitHub sync (edits become commits, pushes arrive as edits), scheduled tasks that post a prompt into a chat on a cadence, skills installed from a URL, LaTeX with a full TeX Live compiler, and export to PDF and Word.
